The U.S. Olympic Moguls and Aerials Team is ready to compete at the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang, South Korea. The Games will start in a few weeks.

But on Tuesday, January 23, Deer Valley visitors will be able to meet the mogul and aerial athletes and get their autographs and photos on the Snow Park plaza from 2 - 3 p.m.

Before you meet the athletes, you might like to think of a question to ask, such as: Are you every afraid? How old were you when you started? Or, what's your favorite food? You'll feel like you know them a little bit when you watch them compete in the Olympics.

My favorite question is: What do you eat before you practice? I asked one aerialist that question while he was fueling up on a giant bowl of Deer Valley's famous turkey chili. Then he went out to practice his upside down flips and spins.

Then, the newly announced Olympic mogul team will then conduct training on Deer Valley’s Champion ski run for guests and spectators to watch. Training exercises will run from Thursday, January 25 through Tuesday, January 30, 2018.

FIS World Cup competitions, just a few weeks ago, marked the 20th year that international and world competitions have been hosted at Deer Valley, including the 2002 Winter Olympic Games, two World Championships and 16 World Cups making the resort an ppremier venue for the freestyle community.
